Chamku can't die sala

Dear God! forgive me cause I have sinned. I was so out of mind (it can happen after having a couple of drinks) that I have decided to watch Chanku. Oh God! forgive me, I have sinned.

Chamku is story of Chandrama Singh aka Chamku (Bobby Deol), who joins naxal movement after his father is killed by Thakur (Akhilendra Mishra) and he is saved by naxalite leader played by Danny. He becomes an active member of naxal movement before getting caught by Police and taken for encounter. This time he is saved by Kapoor (Irrfan) and recruited for a covert team of political assassins. During his stint in the team, he meets Priyanka Chopra and falls in love with her. He also comes across Thakur during one of the operations and decides to kill Thakur. After a failed attempt on Thakur he is again captured by Police, taken for encounter but again saved by Kapoor.

It's an outdated script and has been shown many times on silver screen. Presence of Bobby Deol is reason enough for not watching the film. Priyanka Chopra is doing so many movies these days that she herself would have not known she has worked in this film. She looks out of place, her character is also not well defined. Irrfan has very less to do in the film. None of the songs in the film are worth listening and irritate when they are played out of place in the film. Overall, there is nothing to talk about in the film.

I would not dare to rate this film and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
